CDM
Safety: Sorba hold various European and Country specific working Safety Certifications that require constant supervision, this is so our clients can ensure that we meet the highest standards of safety required from concept (CDM) to on site safety working practises.
CE-marking
Furthermore, we hold the NEN-EN 1090 certification, granting us, as Unique specialists, the authority to supply load-bearing structures that comply with European regulations (CE). Our supplied structures meet the highest European standards.

FIRAS Accreditation
Sorba UK Limited as a part of its on-going technical development of its systems, has recently obtained full FIRAS accreditation as an installer of cavity fire barriers within rainscreen cladding systems. Sorba can now offer a full through-wall designed solution to its clients incorporating fire protection which gives confidence to the end user that one company can provide all components within the build-up mitigating the risk of interface details throughout the wall construction. For example at a recent large residential project in London (TESCO LONDON) the client was pleased that we could offer as a part of the overall scope the installation of the rainscreen fire protection cavity barriers as having full FIRAS (AU4728).
FIRAS is a third party certification scheme for installation contractors like Sorba of passive fire protection within cladding systems, it is operated by Warringtonfire and accredited by UKAS to BS EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012. Please see our FIRAS certificate and registration number for reference
