We use www.sorba.com to inform you about our activities. To optimise your experience on our website we use cookies. We also produce news  updates  regarding our activities through our newsletter, for which you can subscribe too. We will need your e-mail address and possibly other information. However the way that we process the saved cookies and your data is explained below.

On our website we use cookies. A cookie is a small file that is send together with our website and your browser saves this information on the hard drive of your computer. Next time you visit our website this stored information can be sent back to our servers.

Use of permanent cookies

With the use of permanent cookies we can recognize you if you visit our website multiple times. This way your preferences will be remembered. If you have given us permission to store cookies, this will also be stored as a cookie. Therefore you don’t have to give us permission to use cookies every time you visit our website. Google states it complies with the Privacy Shield principles and is connected to the Privacy Shield-programme of the United States Department of Commerce. This means there is a fitting security level for the processing of personal data.

Data storage and processing newsletter

To subscribe to our newsletter we will need your e-mail address. The e-mail address provided for the newsletter will solely be used to send the Sorba Newsletter. You have to give Sorba permission to send you the Sorba Newsletter. Without the permission we will not send you the Sorba Newsletter.

Along with the required e-mail address you voluntarily can give us more information about yourself, like your name, company and industry. We can use this information to optimise the newsletter for its readers. For example; a newsletter focussed on architecture for architects and designers in our mailing list.

We use Mailchimp as our marketing automation platform. When you subscribe to the Sorba Newsletter you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking  the unsubscribe in the footer of the newsletter, or by sending an e-mail to projects@sorba.nl stating that you want to be unsubscribed from the Sorba Newsletter.

Data storage and processing contact forms

Through our contact forms it is possible to ask Sorba questions or set a meeting with our employees. To answer to these requests we will need your e-mail address and name. This data is solely used for the request you put in and to contact you about it.

The right to view, correct and remove your data.

You have the right to view, correct or request to remove your information. You can request this through our contact page. To prevent abuse we will ask you to provide materials for identification.
