Description:
At the platforms of Woolwich Station Sorba will develop and install various kinds of cladding. Above the glass doors, which give access to the trains, grill panels with acoustic properties will be installed. Some of these grill panels can be opened to make maintenance at the platform easier. Above the platforms acoustic discs, which are 2 meters wide and have a light at the centre of the disc, are placed. The cladding of these discs is perforated and insulated to improve the acoustics of the station. The 25 columns on the platform are covered in curved brass cladding. The brass cladding is treated with a specialised acid treatment to give it the bronze colour.
