Description:
With over 7000 m² of Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) panels Sorba created a modern concrete version of a vaulted tunnel. At the junctions and above the escalators the panels are even double curved and perforated to enhance the acoustics. The exterior of the station is cladded by Sorba with anodised aluminium sandwich cladding. All copings and flashings are cladded with coated aluminum panels and all ventilation openings are clad with Stainless Steel mesh from GKD.
