Bond Street Crossrail | London
For the new Elizabeth Line in London Sorba is working on the two new ticket halls of Bond Street. Sorba will engineer, produce, deliver and install various sorts of façade, wall and ceiling cladding. Different kinds of material will be used for this cladding, like; brass, aluminium, stainless steel, laminated glass and prefabricated concrete elements. The brass elements of this station have gotten a specialised acid treatment at Capisco Ltd. to patinate the brass (artificially aging). A special feature of this project is that all the elements have been calculated and designed to withstand an explosion.
